The Tornado IQ455 device delivers high performance multi-tasking and leading edge multimedia and gaming user experience using MediaTek’s MT6592 true octa-core chipset platform
DUBAI, July 14, 2014: EUROSTAR Group and Fly UK have launched their first Fly by EUROSTAR smartphone, Tornado IQ455, powered by MediaTek’s MT6592 true octa-core chipset. The new device benefits from MediaTek’s scalable octa-core architecture, which can run both low-power and processor intensive tasks highly efficiently by harnessing the full capabilities of its eight individual CPU cores in optimal combination.

MediaTek’s MT6592 chipset was the world’s first SoC to integrate eight power-efficient ARM® Cortex®-A7 processors, each clocked at up to 2GHz in an individually scalable configuration as necessitated by the handset’s task workload using MediaTek’s CorePilotTM technology, thereby delivering excellent performance-per-watt. In addition to the groundbreaking True octa-coreCPU architecture, the MT6592 features a quad-core graphics engine, enabling an immersive console-like gaming experience.

The features of the new Fly Tornado IQ455 include a 5.0” TFT touchscreen display with high-definition IPS OGS (1280×720) full lamination TP technology. The OS Android 4.2 3D UI is fully-optimized with the most advanced chipset, 1.7 GHz Octa Core processor to offer the excellent high-speed performance.
The phone offers vivid picture quality with an 8MP Camera AF Rear Camera and 2MP Front Camera and 16 MP image signal-processor. The H.265 Ultra HD video record and playback ensures fantastic visual and sound quality. The phone also features Dual Sim option, a memory space of 4GB Internal and 1GB RAM and a powerful battery life of 1800 mAh.
